Cotton Combing Machine introduction

Industrial Cotton combing machine is mainly used to process fibers (such as cotton, wool, chemical fiber, etc.). It combs disordered fibers into single fibers through mechanical action, removes impurities (such as short fibers, grass clippings, etc.) and forms a uniform fiber web.

1. Feeding: The fibers are evenly fed into the combing area through the feeding roller.

2. Combing: The surface of the cylinder (a high-speed rotating drum) is covered with a needle cloth, which interacts with the cover plate or working roller to comb the fibers. The fibers are grabbed by the needle teeth and combed into single fibers.

3. Removing impurities: Short fibers and impurities are thrown out by centrifugal force or removed by dust removal knives.

4. Web formation: The combed fibers are transferred to the doffer, formed into a fiber web by the stripping roller, and finally wound into a tube.
